As those of you who have been with us for a while may have noticed, we have a brand new website! We have been working quietly behind the scenes on this for over two years now, so you can imagine how excited we are to finally reveal all that work to you. And the response has been overwhelmingly positive! Thank you for all your kind notes and words of encouragement- please keep them coming!
Now that the site has been live for a week, we'd love to point out some of our favorite new features to you, in case you missed them:
1) The Enhanced Podcasts can now be watched as videos on ANY of your devices
This was perhaps the most frequently asked question we had with the previous system. Enhanced podcasts were offered when Apple first came up with the idea of 'podcasts', but they quickly abandoned the form, and the process to download enhanced podcasts became so difficult. With this update, we've simply made all the enhanced podcasts into actual videos, so you can watch them from any device. Easy peasy!
2) Lesson Guides have been updated and improved
Similarly, the lesson guides have become much more web friendly. It's still easy to download and print them (my preferred way to learn so I can make notes), but they can be just as easily read from your screen. This way, you can learn Persian anytime you have any free time- you don't have to have your learning materials with you. Just whip out your tablet, phone, or laptop, and let the learning continue!
3) Each lesson has its own unique color!
This is my own personal favorite feature of the new website. Each lesson has always had a unique photograph that is taken from the archives of my personal travels, or from a photographer I know and admire. Now each lesson also has a unique color that carries throughout all of its individual bonus materials. Click through the lessons (for example, try this one and this one to see the difference), and see how the banner changes. A small detail, but my absolute favorite!
These are just a few new features of the new website. Anything in particular that you LOVE? Anything you coudl do without? We welcome any suggestions!
Also, remember that you can see all these new features in the flesh on the bonus materials for Lesson 1- always completely accessible, completely free!
